Among Jack's effects are such classics as "The Giant Dwarf", "Cats and Chickens" and the "Elusive Rabbits" which Jack redesigned from The Great Norman's original for better effect.

During Jack's partnership with Harry Stanley, many hundreds of items were manufactured in Jack's workshops in South East London, many of which have become collectors' items and are very much sought after, especially some of the one off items.
Part of the fascination is in the ingenious methods and clever mechanisms used in illusions like the "Knife Thru Girl" which Jack manufactured for the Vampire Magic Company.
